Description of Toondoo
Toondoo is a web 2.0 tool that can be found at www.toondoo.com. Toondoo claims to be "The World's Fastest Way to Create Cartoons", and honestly it probably is. Toondoo allows people to create their own comic strips, no matter how artistically inclined they may or may not be. Toondoo has a multitude of background scenes and characters for users to choose from. If users are unhappy with the characters preloaded on the website, they can make their own characters to use in their comic strips.

People have different comic strip templates to choose from when designing their cartoons. They can choose horizontal strips that contain one block to three block space to illustrate. People can also choose vertical strips to illustrate ranging from one block to four blocks. If students want to create more than just one strip, they can create multiple strips and make them into a comic book.

The privacy settings on comics can be controlled by the author and can be set on either private or public settings. If they choose to, comics can also be set so that others can edit their cartoons. Also, cartoon creators can order their comic strips from toondoo in paperback format.
